Week #24 - July 4th to July 10th - Project report and testing

A lot of this week was catching up from the limited amount I had last week due to some work travel I had to do. Following my arrival from Canada, I also had to move into a new home, so I had quite a bit of juggling this week regarding my time. Spent most of this week working on the report. Adding everything in and formatting. References to match the images used for the report were added. Also did some minor updates to the website as well.

Continued to do some testing on the Raspberry Pi just to have quantities to add on to some of the tests that will be required for the report and the presentation. Currently doing a charge time test on the battery as well as a test to see exactly how long the battery life will last.

Went to Valencia College today to pick up the final draft but it appears that it was not printed, spoke to Danial about it and he told me it was not scaled properly. They reported sending me an email last week but I seem to not have received it. Ran home and made some changes to the design and went back to the college. This time the designs worked and he said he could print it out for me. We told me they should be done by Wednesday, so I will pick them up on 07/12/2023.

With this final case, we should be able to get a final draft together to have for the presentation as a good proof of concept and that the project did come together.

Lastly, after discussion with James, some of the attributes of our software program that we were struggling with were not part of our engineering requirements. We decided that since they are not part of our requirements, we would not spend further time on them. This called for some buttons to be removed and some things to be changed in the UI, which I have done as well.
